Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Charter

The New Zealand Aquatic Collective is committed to ensuring that anybody that participates within aquatics has the opportunity to engage in a sport where age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, or ability are not barriers but rather celebrated aspects of our diverse community. Recognizing the rich diversity of New Zealand's population, the Collective aims to reflect this diversity at all levels of the sport, from learn to swim to leadership.

As a nation blessed with many aquatic facilities and natural bodies of water, New Zealand offers unparalleled access to aquatic activities, making it possible for everyone to swim, dive, or compete. The Collective’s Inclusion Charter is a reflection of our commitment to nurturing an inclusive and diverse aquatic environment—one that reflects our communities and is adaptable to the dynamic nature of Aotearoa’s society.
